Frequently asked questions
My daughter or son does not speak one or both of the languages used at school (Italian and English). Can I still enroll her/him?
Yes, it is possible to enroll a student even if they do not speak one or both of the school's languages. At SIS Swiss International School, children learn both Italian and English using the immersion method, even if neither is their mother tongue.
Our schools offer Italian and English courses outside of school hours or in intensive courses during school hours, depending on the school level. The costs of additional language lessons are included in the school fees.
What is the minimum age my daughter/son must be to enroll?
Children aged six and above can be enrolled.
Will the educational offering include preschool and secondary school levels?
The Milan-Basiglio Primary School is the first SIS Swiss International School in Italy, and we will focus on this school level. We intend and aim to expand our educational offering in Italy to include preschool and secondary school.
