Classes in Italian and English at Our Lively Day School

At our primary school, students aged six and above acquire high-level language skills in both English and Italian, which is of paramount importance at this level. We promote awareness and respect for other cultures as the basis for an international education. We aim to empower students and give them a voice in their learning process.

Primary School Curriculum

At our bilingual primary school, teaching is based on the national curriculum. This is supplemented with international elements. The development of language skills in Italian and English is of paramount importance at this level. By attending our primary school, children are ideally prepared for the transition into the public school system at any time.

Bilingual Instruction

Each of our primary school classes has two teachers: one Italian-speaking and one English-speaking teacher. In this way, primary school students are completely immersed in a bilingual environment during the week. As such, Italian and English are heard and spoken in almost equal measure throughout the day. The children grow up bilingually in a natural way.

Varied Lessons

In our lessons, we use different learning methods supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure. Working with tablets and notebooks, for example, enables students to acquire new knowledge and helps them deepen their understanding of what they have already learned.

Full-Day Concept

We want to actively support families by offering useful and flexible services and trying to adapt to their busy schedules. Your child can be at school daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lessons take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. We offer after-school care from 4 to 6 p.m.

Further Activities

Other activities outside the classroom enrich our school life and strengthen our school community. Read more about our vivid everyday life.

Benchmarking Tests

From Year 3 of primary school, our students sit international benchmarking tests and achieve good results on a regular basis. Results are communicated transparently to parents and provide a basis for individual objectives, which are discussed in parent consultations with the teachers twice a year.
